Michael Wallner Colour Workshop @ Bankside | DegreeArt.com The Original Online Art Gallery

Every form is a base for colour, every colour is the attribute of a form. Victor Vasarely

On Saturday 22nd June 10:30am - 12pm, come and be inspired and have your way of seeing both the cities we move through, and the colours they produce, altered.

Hear directly from artist Michael Wallner about his use of colour to highlight aspects often missed and enhance the the better known elements of the cityscapes he depicts. His techniques reveal a merging of landscape, colour and craftsmanship. Michael's works take many of our favorite cities as their inspiration including Miami, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and course London.

This workshop is a unique opportunity for you to connect with a practicing artist involved in the Bankside Maker in Residence programme run by Contemporary Collective Gallery. The session will include a presentation by the artist on his artistic process from the original concept, through to the creation and production touching on the digital and physical stages with the opportunity to have a go at digital colouring.

Light refreshments will be served throughout. Please note there is no need to have any previous art training.
