When a beautiful object comes into a relationship with it's surroundings a dialogue is created and the space is enlivened. The object, in this case a sculpture, displays a presence to become a friend and a part of daily life. The bronze sculpture freely rotates on the scorched yew base and regular turning produces different perspectives to avoid any one view becoming habitual The raised bronze pattern is mirrored so appears to pass through the blade. The title of this abstract sculpture may hint at the beginnings but it remains open for personal interpretation and connection.
