Salary: Starting from £25,000 with an on-target team bonus

Are you looking for a varied and exciting opportunity supporting sales and marketing for an established art gallery business? We are seeking a dynamic individual, who wants to work in the business and sales side of a creative industry, to join our team and support the Directors and wider team in the day-to-day sales and marketing operations and development of our business.
You will be an excellent communicator who is seeking a role that provides access to all parts of the business. You will be flexible and able to adapt your working week and allocation of hours to suit the needs of the sales driven aspects of the business.
Sales Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of pop-ups, exhibitions, events, and other gallery programs

Calling past customers and new leads to provide updates and make introductory sales enquiries

Manage logistics and operations (including AML and Loan Applications) for client delivery, installation, and aftercare (including Certificates of authenticity)

Assist with sales and client relations, responding to inquiries and providing information about artwork and artists

Liaise with artists regarding sales enquiries

Using our data, produce insightful sales reports on weekly and monthly sales and marketing activities

Support at Art Fairs and Sales Events
Marketing Responsibilities:

Create engaging weekly marketing content and distribute across various channels including social media, emails, and online platforms

Support the management of the gallery's social media accounts and website, promoting events and engaging with our audience

Trend reporting

Maintain and build relationships with press and PR opportunities
General tasks:

Provide general administrative support, including answering phones and emails, greeting visitors, and other assigned tasks

Assist in the installation and de-installation of artwork, including handling and packing as needed

Support the maintenance of the gallery's inventory and records, updating the database and organizing files
Desired Qualifications:

Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Highly proficient on computers and able to use and or learn packages such as Canva, Slack and CRM systems

Previous experience in a similar position (can be as an intern or work experience)

Understanding of 'luxury' consumerism

Proven ability to use initiative and able to anticipate next steps
