Amy Lee is from the "Weeper" Series, a collection of women sleeping which I collected primarily from Facebook and various Google searches. I re-painted these women onto Slate, as the cold surface of this medium reflects the coldness and almost deathliness of the women sleeping. I titled these individual pieces according to the original source of the image, relying on its original name, and paying homage to the people that put these images out there for the public to consume. This reiterates my notion that images are everywhere, and we must re-use what we already have. This is a collection of various women, from all over the internet, in a moment of undisturbed sleep
