Gina Langridge
I've always been obsessed with art and horses, so it comes naturally to me to combine the two. I started drawing horses when I was old enough to hold a pencil and it escalated from there! I've mostly been known for my paintings, but I completed my foundation diploma in ceramics at Wimbledon College of Art and then my BA (Hons) degree in ceramics and glassblowing at Buckinghamshire New University. Glassblowing is truly addicitive and I love experimenting with different techniques and colour variations. While horses are my main source of inspiration, I also enjoy depicting nature and other wild creatures in my work.
My current work is primarily inspired by colour and nature, and different ways of applying colour in glass with the application of gold and silver leaf.
