Having taken various forms, Mike Coffey's work has now moved into pure abstraction. Working from memory, each painting evolves organically and through its texture, colour and form represents a personal interpretation on the chosen subject matter.

Although there are many artists, both past and present, whom he admires, Mike Coffey's work has reached this point through his natural development as a painter fuelled by the desire to find a personal expression of himself through paint.

Mike Coffey recieved his BA in Fine Art from London Metropolitian University and now lives in Middlesex, London.
