For the Springtime Sessions the Chelsea Design Centre, in partnership with the BIID and sofa.com we were invited along with Italian fine artist Guglielmo Alfarone to create a special intimate evening of charcoal drawing, focused on portrait sketching.
The masterclass began with a brief introduction from the artist explaining his practice and what inspires him – from family to travel – followed by a demonstration. Guests then took the reins and began sketching their own masterpiece inspired by a photograph close to your heart with tips and instruction from Alfarone himself.
