This series combines the swirling compositions of my Vortex of Love Series and Around the World Series with the colours I've been favouring in my most recent Series, Dance of Colours. Past and present mingle and merge in this painting expressing the vastness of our interior worlds through eddies, whirls and splashes of acrylic paint over a collaged and primed surface. These paintings start out with an abstract reference to nature and our emotional responses to the changes in the weather. Emotional accumulations of acrylic paint and gold leaf are built up with layers and layers of polyeurethane creating a glass like surface that is then sealed with acrylic glazing to ensure a unique and long-lasting painting. [
