Tracing this years stunning journey through the misty historical highlands and verdant terrace tapestries of central Sri Lanka, onto the wild palm fringed coast and Safari adventures of the plains. I build the works up from my original photographs, which are collaged threaded together using pencils and acrylic paint to create a tableaux inspired by these journeys.
Limited edition print signed and numbered by the artist. Mixing artists original photography with paint, painted and photographed layers and collage using layers masking and drawing in post production. Printed on Hahnemuhle Cotton fine art 308 gsm museum grade paper, using archival pigmented gallery inks. Printed with a white border.
