Ramzi Musa
Ramzi Musa is a professional artist, and fashion designer, who had his break at the age of 20, when he collaborated with the esteemed Browns of London on the Ramzi Musa for BFocus Collection. The sellout collection, which showcased dynamic, art inspired prints, went on to be featured in the Elle, Grazia, The Sun, Mail Online, numerous fashion blogs, in addition to having celebrities, such as Jessie J and Cheryl Cole, wear them for music videos.
Over the years, Ramzi Musa has been extensively exploring South-East Asia, creating art collections inspired by the incredible places he has lived. Among the places he has lived are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Ramzi Musa most recent collection includes limited edition artist proof prints of Saigon, which are all printed using traditional Hanoi paper, most recognizably used in 1970s propaganda posters.
“The amazing thing about art is that you can do it from anywhere. Over the last two years, my temporary studios have ranged from mountains huts & island dwellings to dilapidated hotel rooms with no windows. Each place I have lived reflects in the artwork I produce, whether it be painstakingly hand-draw work in Ubud, digital illustration in Saigon, or painting in Chang Mai...
It has become an ever-growing, intensely personal collection that changes as I explore more of the world, and I’m so happy to share this journey with you."
