The painting is part of a collection of artworks inspired the unusual geology and wave-like shaped cliffs on the Hartland Peninsular in North Devon. The painting is on Saunders Waterford paper from St Cuthbert’s Mill in England. The paper is very high quality, mould made with 100% cotton to archival standards, with deckled edges. It looks really lovely float-mounted to show off the edges. I use artist quality paints that are light resistant however I’d recommend framing using conservation or UV glass to protect the colours from fading.
