We may make changes to or temporarily withdraw parts of the site without prior notice. We are not responsible if the website is unavailable at any time. Occasionally, we may limit access to parts or all of the site.

Registration

Submitting Material

If you share images, text or other content with us, you grant DegreeArt.com permission to use, reproduce, adapt and display it globally for marketing and promotional purposes. We’re not obliged to publish everything submitted.

Breaches

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break our community rules. This will be at our discretion.

7. Terms of Sale

Contract Formation

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We’ll accept the order when we send you a dispatch confirmation.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or over and use a valid payment method.

Pricing and Availability

We aim to keep prices and information accurate but mistakes can happen. If there’s an error, we’ll let you know and give you the option to confirm or cancel your order.

Payment

All payments are subject to standard pre-authorisation checks. Orders will only be dispatched once payment is cleared.

8. Discount Codes and Gift Vouchers

One discount code can be used per transaction.
Gift vouchers must be used before the expiry date.
We can’t replace lost, deleted or stolen vouchers.
Refunds are made to the original payment method.

9. Collections / Returns

Collection services can be paid for by credit or debit card only.
Once booked, collection details can’t be changed.
Collections take place between 7am and 7pm on your chosen date. A responsible adult must be present.
If a collection fails due to inaccessibility or no one being present, the service remains chargeable.
If DegreeArt.com or the courier fails to collect, we’ll refund the cost of the service.
You can cancel up to 7am one working day before your collection date. After that, it becomes non-refundable.

Returns Period

You have 14 days from delivery or collection to return items.
Returns made after 14 days are accepted at our discretion.
Items not resolved or claimed within 30 days may be relisted for sale.

International Returns

We’re not responsible for unpaid customs duties or taxes.
These charges must be covered by the sender.
Additional paperwork or prepayment may be required.

Sales Channels

This returns policy applies to purchases made online, in person, through third-party platforms, and internationally.
For third-party purchases, their returns policy applies.

10. Commissioning Artwork

A 50% deposit is due once preliminary sketches are approved.
The balance must be paid before shipping.
Packaging, shipping and insurance are the purchaser’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
Intellectual property remains with the artist unless a separate licence is agreed.
If a purchaser cancels after completion, the deposit is forfeited.

11. Digital Services and Content

For digital content and services (such as virtual exhibitions or artist profiles), your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a digital product is faulty or not delivered, you may be entitled to a refund.

12. Disclaimer of Liability

The content on this site is provided as it is, without guarantees of accuracy. We’re not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the site, except where the law prevents us from limiting liability (for example, personal injury or fraudulent misrepresentation).

13. Linking to this Website

You can link to our homepage as long as it’s done legally and fairly, and doesn’t suggest endorsement where there isn’t any. We can withdraw linking permission at any time.

14. Trademarks and Copyright

All trademarks, images and names belong to their respective owners. Their presence on this site does not imply endorsement.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold DegreeArt.com and its team harmless against any claims, liabilities, damages or costs that arise from your use of the site or breach of these Terms.

16. Invalidity

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.

18. Waiver

If we don’t act immediately on a breach of these Terms, it doesn’t mean we’re waiving our rights to act in the future.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the English courts.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms make up the entire agreement between you and DegreeArt.com. Any changes or waivers must be in writing and signed by a Director of Artellite Ltd
