Who We Are
Introduction
Founded in 2003, DegreeArt is a London-based contemporary art gallery and online platform dedicated to discovering, supporting and promoting emerging artists from the UK and internationally.
Established by Isobel Beauchamp and Elinor Olisa, alumni of Goldsmiths, University of London and the University of the Arts London, DegreeArt was created to bridge the gap between early-career artists and collectors seeking original contemporary work.
Over more than two decades, DegreeArt has developed a reputation for identifying promising artistic talent at an early stage and supporting sustainable artist careers through exhibitions, sales, commissions and professional development opportunities.
Operating from Somerset House and London’s Southbank art desitation Bankside Hotel whic hosts a permenant Exhibition Space and Artist Residency, DegreeArt works with private collectors, businesses, hospitality groups, developers and cultural organisations internationally.
DegreeArt.com’s philosophy is that taking a vested interest in the development of the Artist, the Collector can reap far greater rewards.

Exhibition Programme
DegreeArt delivers a curated year-round exhibitions programme centred at the White Box space within Bankside Hotel, London, alongside presentations at select partner venues.
The programme includes solo and group exhibitions. We believe firmly in the importance of artwork being seen and enjoyed beyond the online!
We showcase emerging and early-career contemporary artists across painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media.
Each exhibition is developed in close collaboration with artists, offering collectors the opportunity to engage directly with new work in thoughtfully curated, professional gallery settings.

Artellite
Whilst the comparable industry of Music and Fashion have embraced it, the Art World has been slow to recognise and take up the potential of the Internet as a viable selling tool.
With funding from the £7 million Digital Research and Development Fund for Arts run by Nesta, Arts Council England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the team at DegreeArt.com has researched and developed an ecommerce solution for the artwork.
