Bankside Hotel x Contemporary Collective, in collaboration with Artists Futures Fund, are delighted to present Unframed Futures, the 2025 residency showcase of the Artists Futures Fund Fellows.
Artists Futures Fund supports talented emerging artists to overcome significant socio-economic and health barriers so that they can flourish creatively and professionally through Fellowships and Awards. In partnership with the Contemporary Collective x Bankside Hotel’s signature Artist Residency programme, Fellows will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a professional studio environment, showcase their work, and connect with the local Bankside community.
Co-curated by Contemporary Collective and Hannah Wallis, an independent curator specialising in artist development and socially engaged practice, Unframed Futures is the inaugural joint residency showcase between Bankside Hotel’s Art Yard Studio and the Artists Futures Fund. Running from 10-30 October 2025, the residency transforms the studio into a vibrant group exhibition of painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, reflecting the diverse voices and innovative practices of the Fellows and the fund’s mission to open new pathways for contemporary art.
The residency will commence with a Launch Night Reception on Thursday, 9th October, 6-8 pm, followed by an Artist Panel Talk: The Art of Opportunity - Building Pathways in the Arts on Friday, 10th October, 9:30-11:30 am in the Private Dining Room at Bankside Hotel’s Art Yard Bar & Kitchen. The panel will bring together Fellows, curators, and arts professionals to explore how initiatives like the Artists Futures Fund and the Contemporary Collective x Bankside Hotel’s residency programme can foster opportunities for emerging talent.

Our support encompasses place-based Artist Fellowships, bursaries, mentoring, exhibition, networking and professional development opportunities. We co-deliver our current programmes through dynamic partnerships with Higher Education Institutions and cultural organisations across the UK. Our core mission is to open doors to diverse and exciting futures in the arts. Artists Futures Fund is an independent charity, founded in 1810, and formerly known as the Artists’ Benevolent Fund (registered charity no: 270585).
