Like with many of my pieces, this painting has metamorphosed into various different compositions. Starting as an autumnal treescape, to then and abstract form and lastly into this forest landscape with flying birds in the foreground. This piece was created during a time of many endings in my clinical art psychotherapy practice. The birds are perhaps a symbol of my own release, for what I was emotionally containing for clients in the therapeutic space.
