New Shoot 2020. Laid Bare is a new series using calm, warm and more muted colours and hopes to evoke a sense of escapism and serenity. Please note, this piece is the image without overlying paint applied. Once purchased this image will be painted onto. My process starts with a photoshoot where I paint directly onto my skin with oil paint and take hundreds of pictures. I then choose up to 6 images to print from the shoot. Once these are manufactured as an acrylic reverse print (the image is sandwiched between a piece of acrylic on the front and aluminium on the reverse, with a subframe for hanging) I then paint over the top of the image with acrylic paint. This creates a layering of image of paint and painted image. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
