Born in Ireland, photography  was an early interest and after leaving school I went on to learn darkroom skills. For my Ba Hons in Fine Art I made a seies of video pieces. Following this, I experimented  with a wide variety of media before discovering that the practice of  making cyanotypes is a thoroughy engaging process. I am very inspired by nature and I especially enjoy taking photographs in evening light.

I thoroughly enjoy the process of making cyanotypes and like to incorporate into my imagery the brush strokes of the solution I apply to the watercolour paper.
