Comissioned artwork. These two paintings were a commission for a dining room in a countryside house in Portugal. I chose to paint 2 canvases, The Rooster and The Chickens. The Chickens were located right next to the kitchen door, as they give as an idea of a mess and the Rooster was next to the landscape, as a more quiet painting. Personally, when I am commissioned a painting to a specific room/wall of a house, I always take into consideration the client's taste, the architecture of the house, the location of the house (next to the sea, in the countriside, city, etc), the colours of the room, and the last but definitely not least, the atmosphere of the house.
