Acrylic paint and collage on board. This work is landscape based and challenges the viewer to consider the effect that paint plays when juxtaposed with collage. It is a combination of a mirroring of the real world, together with the more immediate, and visceral use of paint, showing as it does, the hand of the maker. The work speaks individually of the past, present, reality and ambiguity, whilst still inviting the public to formulate their own interpretation of this Bristol based landscape.
