I don't venture into the world abstracts often, but during the pandemic (remember that? Seems like a lifetime ago) I explored a series of them. This is the only remaining abstract from that series. Each had a figurative element that appeared throughout the process. And it was this process that helped shaped my understanding of the materials and how I wanted to progress with my work.
