This process involves blending printmaking ink with turpentine and applying it on the glass, later on, where the carved block is placed until the colors are evenly settled throughout the block. Once I was out camping in the woods of Kondgaon, encompassed by rich green trees with a waterway stream close to our camping area. So, while I was strolling around, I saw a dim light visible in the middle of the stream and as I went close to it, I came across a man who was sitting on a rock in a waterway grasping a flame and that made me wonder about why was he sitting there? My curiosity increased as I observed him from a distance and I couldn’t hold back myself so I decided to approach him and somehow, I managed to go near the rock where he was sitting. At the point when I asked him what was he doing here sitting alone, he answered with an unobtrusive numbness in his voice that his lover requested that he hang tight there for her. He had an extremely baffling look as he viewed the streaming waterway around him. When I reached home, from the camping I was still contemplating about this man who was waiting for his lover, and what was the reason he was made to stay there alone in the forest? What was his romantic tale? And my thoughts kept multiplying like bunnies. He reminded me of my building watchmen who used to recite us stories in the evening and all the children used to eagerly wait for the storytime and sit around him while he used to sit on a rock placed in our garden. Thus, I needed to simply let it out, that is the point at which I chose to make this print named Nightwatchmen and his stories.
