The Boy with Three Hearts is a painting by Kwesi Awotwi, a part of his kindred portrait series, a collection of paintings that resemble relatives from Kwesi’s family tree. Each painting is created using his artistic practice. This piece reflects Kwesi's younger brother Kojo's childhood in London during the 90s. Kwesi experiments with a mixture of different mediums such as oil, ink, acrylic, Glitter, and Sand texture on MDF board.
