I usually create landscape paintings in an abstract way, but every now and then I like to take the scene and change it into a colourful fauvism/naive art style. This landscape is of a scene I discovered on a drive in wales, I got lost and decided to take photographs of my surroundings. Sometimes I like to paint the world as I used to think of it as a child, full of simplicity and bright colour. The edges of the canvas have been painted with a continuation of the picture.
