Being born in a family of artists, I have been practicing drawing and painting since I was a small child. I grew up surrounded by art, although it took me many years to determine whether or not I want to follow this path too. Two years ago I decided to study illustration at the university of Brighton and I finally realised what I have always known deep inside – that art is my life.
I express myself through painting, illustration and mixed media. I like to combine different techniques in search of new artistic approaches. I see art as something that is alive and constantly changing along with me. It is simply impossible for me to limit myself to one subject or technique. The endless possibilities of experimentation and freedom of expression is what I value the most in creating art.
Through every painting and print, be it landscape or figurative art, I try to capture some things that evoke strong emotions in me. This is my way of speaking about things which I cannot find the correct words for. I believe some matters simply cannot be explained through words, they can only be painted.
