Visit the working studio of Sarah Emily Porter during her residency managed by DegreeArt Gallery at Bankside Hotel. Sarah is known for making colourful abstract paintings alongside playful, sculptural furniture and homeware. Visitors can pop in throughout the week to delve into a world of colour and get a behind-the-scenes look at her working processes, from painting to wood turning. There is also an opportunity to help create a collaborative artwork.
Throughout the week, the Art Yard Bar and Kitchen is serving up beautifully crafted food and cocktails inspired by Sarah’s unique processes.
Book your free tickets to hear from the artist on Tuesday lunchtime, when she is giving an artist talk and demonstration. On Thursday evening, view the completed collection from her residency at a launch event.
Spaces for ticketed events are limited so booking is essential. Outside these hours the studio is open for visitors to drop-in. Please email studio@sarahemilyporter.com if you would like to attend one of the ticketed events.
