Three youthful rivers merge not far away, running until they merge with another and then the sea - a long way away. Here they are shallow and fast-flowing over stony bottoms, weaving and making much noise as they go. One in particular is very close, I can hear it when full and see it so often when walking. Cast in solid bronze and sitting on a red travertine base, the sculpture has a narrative start to a non-figurative end.
