As a 'visual philosopher' I create representations of meditation. These visual representations of meditations are the tools by which I express realisations and enable connections. I aim to articulate creativity itself.

Creativity enables a ‘travelling’ experience, a discovery of the unfamiliar and for something magical to happen. It is the almost ritualistic underlying processes which are important.

I am in my element when creating work in response to a site, place or idea; loving nothing more than discovering the hidden depths and human stories. I let my work lead me where it wants to go, somewhere I didn’t even know I wanted to go!

Fi works out of her studio in Derby; her work has been exhibited internationally, and in 2019, her work was included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
