CLAIRE LUXTON is a multi-faceted artist and writer, primarily working with photography, installation, video and poetry. After graduating from Goldsmiths University of London in 2014 with a BA Hons degree in Fine Art, she began a series of self portraits that were, visceral, uncomfortable and physically demanding. Carving out her unique style, Luxton deconstructs ideas of form and femininity, exploring the vulnerability and beauty within nature. In 2015 Luxton had the first of her two London solo exhibitions AVALON, followed by BOTANICA in 2017. Selling her art internationally, she has collaborated with a variety of different brands form ADOBE and Scandi wallpaper company FEATHR, to SIPSMITH Gin and London florists MCQUEENS. Luxton effortlessly combines timeless portraiture with, paint, animals, botanicals, nature and fantasy.
