Georgi Morrison

Other (Chemical Engineering , 2018)

Georgi Morrison is an artist based in Tooting, South London. Born and raised in Bristol, she relocated to the capital to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering at university. While her academic path led her away from the art world initially, Georgina's passion for creative expression has been a constant throughout her life. It wasn't until the COVID-19 lockdown that she was able to fully immerse herself in her artistic pursuits. A thoughtful gift of an oil painting set during this time ignited a newfound dedication to exploring the medium.

Alea Pinar Du Pre

Vienna

I am an artist with an immense curiosity in the nature of reality. And reality isn't what it's been cracked up to be!

The insights of modern science point to a universe that's undivided, in which all parts merge and unite in one totality. The ultimate nature of physical reality is not as a collection of separate objects (as it appears), but instead an undivided whole in a dynamic state of flux. Inspired by these findings I create artistic metaphors reflecting this more challenging view of a very new kind of reality.

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, I am a recent graduate of Chelsea College of Arts at the University of the Arts London. As a painter, I explore themes of identity and perception, with a focus on their spiritual and metaphysical elements. I make narrative paintings that encourage viewers to reflect on the intangible layers of our human experience. Using expressive form and vibrant colours, I strive to evoke a contemplative response, seeking to connect with the personal and universal aspects of existence.
